Happy Easter

I love Easter Sunday.

Why?

Because in Young Womens, and Sacrament meeting all they talk about is the Savior (my absolute favorite person). You get to hear about the atonement, and all the things that he did for us, and for me personally. I am grateful for him, and his atoning sacrifice. I know that there is no way that I could suffer ever single sin known to man. Somedays I don't even think that I can handle my own hardships, but I know that I can make it because of him.

During our lesson in YW's Sis. K talked a little bit about things that represented different parts of the atonement, like the sacrament cup meaning the cup that Jesus asked to be removed from him in the scriptures (I don't remember which one... somewhere in the NT). Then the miamaids sang a song. Following their song Sis. I did the same thing as Sis. K. Next the beehives read the verses for a song. Then Sis. J talked. Afterwards a couple young women from the laurel class went up and sang "Day of Tears".

A crown of thorns,
a cross to bear,
and sorrowing friends following near.
Yet, he speaks through his grief,
weep not for me,
but how can we hold back these tears?

Yom tzarr, day of sorrow
Yom dmoat, day of tears
Day of tears

(I'll put the rest on later)

The spirit was really strong in that room as we sang that song. My favorite part is

Now asleep
rest in peace
Jesus lord
with love we come
to wash away
where hate hath marred
but can it be
now we see
no grave can hold thee in
death has an end
thou lives again

and then the very last part

Tears of joy

At the end of the song it talks about how all of those tears, the day of endless tears, were tears of joy, because Jesus was ressurected.

"I know that my redeemer lives, what comfort this sweet sentence gives. He lives, he lives who once was dead, he lives my every living head."

I know that Jesus died for us and that he loves each one of us. It comforts me to know this.

This Easter season is my favorite time of year. Not because of the candy, or the little things we get in our easter baskets, but beacuse we get to talk about our Savior, Jesus Christ, therefore making Easter Sunday my most favorite holiday of the year.

By the Way.

Ever since I finished the Twilight books, I have not finished any b00ks. I have tried, and tried, but I have not been able to find any good books that really interested me. So, I might just read the Twilight books again.

Births: The Natural Way

So, I went to a birth with my mom today. Mrs. K had a good birth. I was trying to think about how many births that I have been at. I counted a total of 10 bitrths, that I can think of. Only three of them have been my siblings. If I counted mine, that would make 11. Anyways. My day was long, and then we came home, and are about to have birthday cake for Liam's birthday. I can't believe that he is 2. It doesn't seem that long since he joined our family.

Books are Taking Over My Life!

So, I am currently reading the Twilight Series. I am one of the worlds slowest readers, and I managed to finish Twilight, a 498 page book in three school days! It was so good that I didn't ever want to put it down. Now I am reading New Moon, the second book in the series. On Thursday I was reading it, and it got to a sad part, and I ended up being in a bad mood all day, and so Thursday was a bad day. On Friday I read it again, and guess what... I had a good day, and in New Moon the book was happier.

Who knew that a book could have a role in your mood, and how your day goes. I sure didn't.

Bored

As I sat here, and helped my mom with her blog (yet again), I thought that I should write another blog.

Wednesday I got my permit. I drove around my neighborhood for about an hour. Then on Thursday, I went driving again, and Mom let me drive on both Balch and County Line. So yesterday when my dad and I went driving (in his Stick Shift truck, rather than the automatic van, which was the only vehicle I had driven before). I was driving through the neighborhood, which was not very easy. Then dad was expecting me to pull out, across County Line road. I had barely even driven the truck for a couple minutes, and he expected me to drive on County Line. Bad idea. Before pulling out onto County Line, I stopped the car, to wait untill it was clear, and it stalled. Bad start. Then I had a mental breakdown, and started to cry. I ended up having to switch places with him, and he pulled into Liberty Middle School (my school where I am stuck, even though I am a high school student. They can't fit us at Bob Jones High School). So I got in, but we couldn't go anywhere, because I was having trouble getting it to get up and go, so we sat there in the car forever not even going anywhere. After I finally desided to try again it took awhile to actually go anywhere. The achool baseball team was practicing though, so we left, and went to Heritage Elemetary School, and drove around there. Dad drove there, because in order to get there we had to drive on County Line, yet again. I then drove around Heritage, and I think I did an okay job.

Well... I need to go do the dishes and eat some food.
